Pi’s Thai Cuisine has been serving authentic Thai home cooking in Metro Detroit since 1986. Founded in Hazel Park by Pirote “Pi” and Boonserm “Boon” Chinthanond, Pi’s was built around the family recipes, fresh ingredients, and bold flavors they grew up with in Thailand.

When Pi and Boon retired in 2011, the restaurant stayed in the family, keeping those original recipes and traditions alive. Nearly four decades later, Pi’s remains a neighborhood favorite known for homemade sauces, classic Thai dishes, serious spice, and warm hospitality. For us, great food is about bringing people together—and making everyone feel at home.
